キセキ (kiseki) is the theme to [rookies] dorama and a great song in my opinion. the second one I’m not sure about, it must appear in the series, but I don’t recall hearing it @_@ *hopeless*

a collaboration between [morisanchu] and [nakashima mika] – the result: a great song that get the best of nakashima, that is, her NANA side!
[utada hikaru]

theme to [last friends]. I find this song really catchy, the parts where the chorus joins in are my fave :)
[mr children]
[gift] is [mr children]’s last single. I had heard about this group, specially in jmusic blogs, but had never cared to listen to their songs. now I’ve got hold of some old albums and selections and I’m trying to catch up! – that’s why I’m also including the second song, which is older than [gift]. :)

yes! it’s chiaki-sempai!! while I’m not really partial to this sort of “mellow” jpop I must say I liked this song. I was surprised to learn that it was his 7th single or so – since he is already 28 I assumed he had been singing longer @_@

and of course, [嵐]’s soon to be released single [truth], theme to [魔王]. I just love this song, it’s so out of style! like nothing they’ve done before :) and like kat said, the interlude with the violins is amazing. I don’t have [kaze no mukou e]’s mp3 file, since I sort of hear it everyday on TV with the olympics… but you can download the PV instead. the single will go on sale 8/20, releasing a total of three versions – main differences are “only CD with both songs and karaoke”, “CD both songs and karaoke +DVD truth” and “CD both songs and karaoke +DVD kaze”.
